Scottish Working Class
Just purchased a book of Paul Stands portraits he took of the people of the rugged island of South Uist, off the west coast of Scotland. Tir a'Mhurain: The Outer Hebrides of Scotland, taken in 1954, is the perfect documentation of a more simpler time and the style of what Scottish gentlemen were wearing. Since the past couple of days have been gray and clouds (my favorite time of the year) I always thought the vintage industrial working class look goes well with the atmosphere.
